Despite all the advances in personal development technology, a multi billion dollar industry and countless numbers of professional motivational speakers and team building facilitators. The corporate world is still dominated by ego and fear. Let’s be honest there is no genuine power, fulfilment or inner peace when ego and fear dominate.
The ego exists in something called the normal waking state of consciousness. Research into DNA conducted at Stanford university in the 1980s showed that only 2% of our energy potential is available in the normal waking state.
This state of consciousness generates fear. The ego is stuck in fear and along with fright comes the flight and fight response. The ego is at war. Within itself and with the world it perceives around itself. This is why we live in a war torn world where fighting is glorified in every strata of our society. We need to fight for success! Fight for health! Fight for peace!
The trick is to live from depth. To move into a more fully activated state of being and to release the 98% of our latent energy potential stored in the cells. This energy potential is nothing less than our very own spirit. It is the richest and most available natural resource. Within it exists all the inspiration and power we need to not only transform our own lives but the destiny of humanity.
Living from depth requires us to shift out of ego identity and into our psyche. Into our soul. This movement is the purpose of life. The spiritual journey, the path of Self discovery and realization, the inner journey or hero’s journey is nothing other than a shift into a fully activated state of consciousness.
It is the simple relocation of ones centre of awareness away from the shallow rooted and frightened ego domain into the deep core centre of our true inner nature – our soul.
The soul is a lens. A focal point. An epicentre of consciousness. Like a drop of the ocean the soul is a membrane within which is contained an individuated aspect of consciousness.
It is through the lens of the soul that the human form is projected into the world. The pure light of consciousness splits into the seven colours of the rainbow. Each colour flows through the seven major energy centres of the human body (chakras) to form the human body.
The human body is a projection of the soul. Just like a projector projects a movie and all the action is on the screen, so too is life. We are all characters in a grand drama being projected from a spiritual realm. Everything we experience and perceive in this physical/energy world is a mirror reflecting the state of our inner worlds.
Before anything can change on the outside. It has to change within. There simply is no other way.
The soul records all the experiences of consciousness. All the vibrations of experience are stored within the subtle membrane of the soul. Another name for soul is psyche. The psyche has 3 main levels. Conscious, Subconscious. Unconscious.
Everything we experience in the physical world from our genetics to our deepest hidden feelings are emanating from the soul. If we want to change anything in our world then we need to undertake the inner journey into the projection room and clean the lens of the soul.
Cleansing is deep healing. The more we cleanse the more perfect our lives become. As the soul is cleansed it is reunited with the pure light within it and this is perfection.
As we embrace this perspective we begin to feel what success really means. Success cannot be measured by material standards. Success, true success, emanates from the soul. Soul deep success is a feeling of freedom and peace, its hallmark is a smiling face and a radiant attitude which freely gives and forgives, an attitude of smiling peaceful blessing and is embodied as a life dedicated to the uplifting of others no matter how seemingly insignificant or anonymous our accomplishments and gestures may be.
